Description |
Presentation Lamp is an oil lamp that has been electrified. Brass base with four feet that has a cherub on each side. Stem resembles a Corinthian column with the center section made of marble. Bowl that surround oil tank is a cut out leaf pattern. Oil fill cap has "B. & H." on it and the top of the oil tank has "THE B. & H." Brass burner on top edge has "PAT'D MARCH 27, 1888 July 26, 1892 AUG 10, 1892". (B) Chimney- clear glass. (C) Shade- round with brass ring around top edge. Shade is opaque with iris's painted on it with colors of red, purple, yellow and green. On base in white is "No. 2107". Bradley and Hubbard Manufacturing Company began making oil lamps in 1875. |
