Summary |
(A) A family history and pedigree of the Whitaker family and relations: Ingham, Sanderson - King Edward I and Bennett families. There is an introduction, table of contents, list of illustrations and index. At the back is an Addenda section of 48 pp. that are blank and are machine cut on all edges. On page two is the fact that Rev. Alexander Whittaker baptised and married Pocahontas to John Rolfe. The cover is white fabric with a circular emblem and coat of arms and underneath is the title, "Whitaker of Hesley and Paermo." The spine and corner are dark blue. The spine has the shortened title in gold lettering. The pages are gold at the top and rough cut on the other edges. (B) A pedigree chart of the Whitaker family from 1431-1872. A coat of arms is in the upper left hand corner. |
