Summary |
(A) This book contains the histories of each state's Sons of the Revolution Societies. There is also a chapter on the DAR, the Society of the Cincinnati, and calendars of the years of the Revolution. There is a table of contents and an introduction. SWP appears in the Pennsylvania chapter as one of the managers on pp. 309-310, 312 and on p. 324 as joining the society in 1888. The cover is blue fabric with two gold emblems of the Sons of the Revolution on the front. The spine is white with the title, in gold, at the top: "Year Book of Societies of Descendants of the Revolution 1890." the pages are rough cut on two sides. (B) This is a 2 page advertising pamphlet for this book. The front is identical to the title page of the book. It is inserted at p. 238. |
