(A) A fictional story set in Indonesia. Pages 21,93, and 103 have pencil marks highlighting philosophical points. The cover is blue fabric. The title, Victory, and the author's name are in gold lettering in a frame near the top of the front cover. At the top of the spine is the title, Victory, and the author's name. At the bottom of the spine is the publisher's name. (B) A typed paper from the Communist Party in 1936. It has eight points that are the election platform of the Party. There is a note to listen to presidential candidate Earl Browder on Labor Day. On the reverse side of the paper are typed facts about presidential candidate Landon "That will not be mentioned tonight." The paper has been folded in half and half again. It is inserted into the text of the book. |
