Summary |
This book tells of the Welsh Quaker settlers, land patents and the townships of Merion, Haverford and Radnor in PA. It has a dedication page, table of contents, list of pictures and maps, an appendix and an index. The spelling of Pennsylvania sometimes omits an "n" throughout this book. SWP is listed on pg. 289 as a descendant of John Bevan and on pg. 170 as a descendant of Elizabeth Bevan. The cover is tan and the spine has the title, author and publisher in black lettering. When the book is closed, the top of the pages are gold colored and the other page edges are rough cut. After the index is printed: "Press of Devine Printing Co. Philadelphia." |
