Summary |
The newspaper articles published from July 3, 1896 to August 28, 1896 have been clipped and glued into this book along with a poem by the author published post humously. The history contains the first settlers, Matthias Van Bebber, the old Skippack Road, the first house, the Tannery, old account books, the Upper Hotel, the store and post office, publications, business places and many families. Inside the front cover is the SWP bookplate and in the lower left corner is 5599 in pencil, on a diagonal. The cover has swirls of pink, brown and green on board with dark brown corners and spine. The spine is divided into 6 sections by gold bands. Near the top is the title and in the middle is the author's name and 1896, all in gold lettering. |
