Postal card to Samuel W. Pennypacker from H. W. Kriebel from Clayton, PA on August 1887. The postal card announces the 150th anniversary of the Schwenkfelder Memorial Service (Gadaechtnisz-Tag), to be held on Saturday, September 24, 1887 at Kraussdale Meeting House. Some distinguished persons will be present to contribute historical data. The descendants of the original 40 emigrant Schwenkfelder families and all interested friends are invited to attend. A handwritten note informs Samuel that Kriebel can arrange for a tram to pick him up at the Palm Station. |
